The Across International Ai P6A Peristaltic Pump is a high-capacity positive displacement pump designed for precise fluid transfer, dosing, and laboratory automation applications. Also known as a roller pump, this system moves liquids through flexible tubing using rotating rollers that compress and release the tubing in a controlled motion known as peristalsis.
Because the fluid remains fully contained within the tubing, the pump provides contamination-free fluid handling, making it ideal for laboratory research, chemical processing, pharmaceutical applications, and controlled fluid dosing systems.
The Ai P6A peristaltic pump delivers flow rates up to 6 liters per minute (1.6 gallons per minute) and features adjustable rotation speeds up to 600 RPM with 0.1 RPM precision, allowing for accurate and consistent fluid movement. The color LCD touchscreen controller allows users to easily configure pump speed, distribution cycles, timers, and dosing intervals.
With auto-sensing 110-230V power compatibility, the Ai P6A is designed for both stand-alone laboratory operation and integration into automated PLC-controlled systems.
How Peristaltic Pumps Work
Peristaltic pumps move fluid through flexible tubing using rotating rollers that compress the tube against the pump housing. As the rotor turns, the rollers push the fluid forward while preventing backflow.
Once the tubing returns to its natural shape, it draws additional fluid into the line, creating a continuous and controlled pumping action known as peristalsis.
