The Across International Ai P2A Peristaltic Pump is a high-performance positive displacement pump designed for precise fluid transfer, dosing, and laboratory automation applications. Also known as a roller pump, this system moves liquids through flexible tubing using rotating rollers that compress and release the tube in a controlled motion known as peristalsis.
Because the fluid only contacts the tubing, the pump provides contamination-free operation, making it ideal for laboratory research, chemical processing, pharmaceutical production, and precision fluid dosing applications.
The Ai P2A delivers flow rates up to 2.3 liters per minute (0.6 gallons per minute) and features adjustable speeds up to 600 RPM with 0.1 RPM precision, allowing users to maintain accurate and consistent fluid delivery. A color LCD touchscreen controller allows users to easily control speed, distribution timing, and dosing intervals.
Designed with auto-sensing voltage (110V–230V) and advanced control features, the Ai P2A peristaltic pump offers flexible integration into both stand-alone lab setups and automated PLC systems.
How Peristaltic Pumps Work
Peristaltic pumps move fluid through a flexible tube that is compressed by rotating rollers inside the pump housing. As the rollers rotate, they pinch the tubing closed, pushing the fluid forward. When the tubing relaxes back to its natural shape, it draws additional fluid into the tube.
