The Across International Ai P12M Peristaltic Pump is a high-capacity positive displacement pump engineered for precise fluid transfer, dosing, and continuous laboratory pumping applications. Often referred to as a roller pump, this system moves fluids through flexible tubing using rotating rollers that compress and release the tube in a process known as peristalsis.
Because the fluid remains fully contained within the tubing, the pump ensures contamination-free pumping, making it ideal for chemical processing, laboratory research, pharmaceutical production, and industrial fluid handling.
The Ai P12M delivers flow rates up to 12 liters per minute (3.2 gallons per minute) and features adjustable rotation speeds up to 600 RPM with 0.1 RPM precision, allowing for accurate control of fluid movement. The pump is equipped with a high-capacity Y35 pump head capable of supporting larger tubing sizes for higher-volume fluid transfer.
With automatic 110–230V voltage recognition, the Ai P12M can operate globally and easily integrate into manual lab setups or automated PLC-controlled systems.
How Peristaltic Pumps Work
Peristaltic pumps move fluid through flexible tubing using rotating rollers that compress the tube against the pump housing. As the rotor turns, the rollers push fluid forward while preventing backflow.
Once the tubing returns to its natural shape, it draws additional fluid into the line, creating a continuous pumping cycle known as peristalsis, similar to processes used in biological systems such as the gastrointestinal tract.
