Standard Operating Procedure (Recommended Use)

Charging PCM Cold Pads

For -25°C Shipping:

1. Place PCM cold pads in a -40°C freezer for 24 hours

2. Position pads sideways (not upright)

3. Leave at least 1 inch spacing between pads

4. PCM is fully charged when the internal fluid becomes solid

After removing from freezer:

• Allow pads to sit at room temperature for approximately 15 minutes before use

1. Place one PCM pad on the bottom of the container

2. Place four PCM pads along the inner walls

3. Insert the product load into the container

4. Place a temperature data logger (optional)

5. Place the sixth PCM pad on top of the load
