Charging PCM Cold Pads

For 2–8°C shipping:

1. Place PCM pads in a -18°C freezer for 24 hours

2. Position pads sideways (not upright)

3. Maintain 1 inch spacing between pads

4. PCM is fully charged once the internal fluid becomes solid

After removal from freezer:

• Allow PCM pads to sit at room temperature for approximately 15 minutes before packing

Packing Procedure

1. Place one PCM pad at the bottom of the container

2. Place four PCM pads along the inner walls

3. Insert the product load into the container

4. Place temperature data logger (optional)

5. Place the sixth PCM pad on top of the load

6. Close the VIP insulated lid tightly

After 72 hours, replace the six PCM pads with newly charged pads if continued temperature control is required.
